Hanwha Vision has launched its new VGA AI Tele Lens Thermal Camera series, delivering advanced AI-powered thermal surveillance for land and maritime environments. Designed for critical infrastructure, perimeter protection, coastal monitoring, and border security, the series combines exceptional thermal sensitivity, intelligent analytics, robust cybersecurity, and rugged durability.
Featuring industry-leading thermal sensitivity with NETD below 16mK, the cameras capture highly detailed thermal images even in challenging visibility conditions. Advanced AI analytics accurately detect and classify people and vehicles, including those crouching, lying prone, or partially obscured, helping reduce false alarms and improve situational awareness.
The series also introduces AI-powered Vessel Detection, extending intelligent surveillance to maritime applications. Operators can accurately identify vessels across coastlines, ports, and waterways, maintaining reliable detection in fog, rain, snow, and complete darkness.
To meet different surveillance requirements, the cameras offer four lens options — 13mm, 19mm, 35mm, and 60mm, with 30fps and 8fps versions available to accommodate various operational and regional requirements.
Cybersecurity is reinforced through a FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified Secure Element and SD card partition encryption, helping protect sensitive surveillance data against unauthorized access and tampering.
Built for demanding outdoor environments, the series features IP66/67, NEMA 4X, IK10, and MIL-STD-810H compliance, providing resistance to harsh weather, vibration, salt exposure, and physical impact. Enhanced transient protection further ensures dependable operation in critical installations.
